EXTENSIONS

Extension Work

Two coats of liquid damp-proof membrane applied to block-work.

Granite coins were installed on the corner and around windows on a bed of weak concrete.

Wall ties were fixed to the block wall to support granite wall.

Granite lintels were installed on top of coins to finish off window area.

Once completed the whole wall was then needle gunned to remove outer surface of granite and any sharp edges.

Gwithian sand was then mixed with cement to point between granite as it was traditionally used hundreds of years ago.
